I have practiced marriage and family therapy for nearly thirty years, and have taught family therapy for twenty five years. I am decidedly pro-marriage and committed to preserving marriage where possible. I specialize in working with couples, families, and individuals with relationship and personal issues from a family systems, marriage friendly perspective. I work from a non-blaming, problem solving stance with a view to identifying personal and relationship strengths and building on a positive foundation. Examples of other typical challenges encountered in my practice are parent-child conflicts, blended (remarried) family issues, grief, religious issues, conflict resolution and family life transitions such as divorce, affairs and other crises.
