Couples counseling is: ◊ Inspiring, powerful, interesting, playful and serious. ◊ An opportunity to learn more about your self, your partner, and how to enhance and maintain love, respect, friendship, and passion. ◊ A commitment to value and meaning, joy and pleasure, meeting challenges and resolving conflict. ◊ A continuing opportunity to become more aware, attuned, and compassionate, to your self and others. ◊ A time for reflections, exercises and experiments, using strengths and resources and multiple methods of exploring and learning.

I have special expertise in working with: organizational and thought leaders and creative professionals; people in the healing and teaching professions; folks who are consciously attending to making a commitment, becoming/being parents or co-parents; and people interested in mindfulness and/or a mind-brain-relationship perspective. I bring experience, humor, respect, creativity, positivity, and care.

Most individuals and couples who work with me choose to pay privately, for many reasons, which we can discuss. Some folks do use insurance; you must have insurance that provides benefits for marriage therapy and meet their requirements for accessing that coverage; please check directly with your insurer about benefits, coverage, and networks. Because premarital counseling is not considered “medically necessary” and therefore not eligible for insurance coverage, I provide a package price for time-limited and focused premarital consultations.
