As someone who has been married for 22 years (who is also a worker and a mother) I understand the challenges that marriages face. Here’s the good news: there are measurable things that make marriages stronger. I want you to rediscover a strong loving marriage with your partner.

What does marriage counseling look like? I will work with you together and individually to do three main things: 1) Find more enjoyment with each other day-to-day, 2) Learn ways to deal with those “stuck” issues and arguments, and 3) Practice the habits that will keep your marriage strong over a lifetime.

What won’t I do? I won’t set you up to fight the whole hour—because that won’t help you develop the skills you need. I will share information about marriage research and we will discuss how it might help you. I will give you feedback and challenge you to be your best self in your marriage. I will help you learn to understand and work with each other more effectively. But most importantly I will expect that your marriage can be more joyful and satisfying for each of you.
