The poet, Rilke, said that loving another person is the hardest work there is, such that all other work is mere preparation.The challenges and work of marriage are normal, as well as very painful.

I've experienced these challenges in my own marriage. I've also experienced the ever deepening joy, safety, respect and passion that grows in a marriage equipped with the tools and willingness to deepen emotional intimacy. I work both with couples who aren't yet married and who are wise enough to want to prepare for the marriage journey, as well as married couples whose relationship needs refreshment and/or healing.

My thirty plus years of post doctoral experience, and especially my IMAGO Realtionship Therapy training, are part of my devotion to help couples avoid unnecessary suffering and deepen joy in their relationship.
