I specialize in creating an atmosphere of trust and optimism where each individual in the marriage can recognize emotional roadblocks, develop strengths and quickly begin making positive changes. I have been working with couples for the past 15 years and have a strong belief in the power of healthy marriages to create genuine happiness and life satisfaction. I work for the marriage by helping to identify how a couple's emotional reactivity creates a pattern of repetitive arguments that tend to undermine a sense of togetherness. I then help the couple learn new ways of responding that create more mutual respect and positive feelings. Having been very happily married for the last 35 years, I also practice what I preach.
