I believe that relationships are important and assume that if a couple is in my office they want me to help them strengthen or repair their relationship. I typically focus on communication skills with emphasis on emotional connection as a way to increase intimacy. My belief is that increased intimacy in a marriage leads to increased satisfaction and happiness for both husband and wife. My work with couples is informed and guided by the latest research with an emphasis on what has been shown to work, in the long term, to strengthen the marital bond.
