I believe marital therapy must be focused, fair and safe. Couples can learn to laugh again at their own foibles, take responsibility for their own contributions to the "gone wrongness," and find creative new ways of giving and receiving.

I have been married for nearly 50 years and have four children and nine grandchildren. I have been practicing marital therapy for nearly 40 years and teaching individual and marital therapy for nearly 35 years.
