I have worked with couples, both newlyweds and long term partners, for over thirty years. My committment is to help couples learn productive communication and to negotiate differences. In our first session, our goal is to understand each partner's point of view and to find the issues that hinder positive communication and intimacy. As a teacher and supervisor of beginning therapists in universities and training institutes, I always emphasize identifying and maximizing people’s strengths rather than weaknesses.
