I have been a pre-marital and marriage counselor/educator for thirty years. I love my work because I strongly believe in marriage as a vital social institution and as a dynamic opportunity for personal growth. In fact, I believe conflict can help build your relationship, depending, of course on how it is managed.

I start with this premise: emotional connection is the most important element of a good marriage. When that fails, the marriage will suffer often manifested by frequent arguments, distancing, and sometimes extra-marital affairs. My goal is to help a couple regenerate their connection. I actively teach you how to stop your negative interactions, meet each other's emotional needs and be with one another in a more positive nurturing way.

One of my favorite poets, Rainer Maria Rilke wrote: “Love . . . consists in this, that two solitudes protect and touch and greet each other.” I am actively committed to helping couples restore and sustain that kind of mutually nurturing love.
