I believe that most couples can learn what it takes to repair their relationship, especially if they are willing to make it a high priority. My approach to couples counseling is collaborative, playful and focused on helping each partner learn to validate and appreciate the other.
 I support couples to practice staying present and connected with each other while discussing challenging issues such as addictions, affairs, parenting, sex and money. My intention is that both partners leave appointments feeling more deeply understood and with a better sense of what it takes to heal the relationship and stay in connection, even if a session feels challenging.
