My work with couples comes out of my long commitment to the importance of marriage and the family. But my interest goes beyond people merely partnering. My work in attachment and mind/body integration has lead me to believe that couples can create a home that is truly a refuge and a place of healing from the rigors of the world. The partnership itself can be a source of healing based on helping couples to understand their interactive cycles that either increase connection or heighten fear and isolation. The ability to affect each other's lives in incredibly powerful and I work with the partners to understand how they can create understanding rather than conflict.
