Couples Counseling and Marriage Counseling Specialist
We all want to love and be loved.
We all want to be seen and acknowledge for who we are.
Good relationships are full of bumps. The challenge is having the skills to navigate those bumps to maintain a healthy, loving connection.
That’s where I come in.
From a heartfelt place,
I mirror back each person’s beauty and potential.
With humor, intention, attention and skill,
I facilitate the process that allows each person to become
more of her/his authentic self and to manifest that self into the world.
As a psychotherapist and couples counselor for over 40 years, my goal is to help each of you to shed the masks and behaviors acquired for survival during turbulent, arid or hostile environments in your childhood that adversely impact your relationship.
By understanding each other's process and receiving the tools to become more skillful at navigating the turbulent waters that relationships often get into, you will enhance your relationship, making room for each other’s challenges.
In this way you will be breaking the negative patterns that pull you apart and be able to both receive from and give more to your partner.
As David Crump says: In a relationship, ask for 100% of what you want 100% of the time and negotiate the difference.
