While people value relationships as an important part of life, there are challenges that couples inevitably face. Couples often experience breakdowns in communication, intimacy, or trust. To rebuild this foundation, enhance your relationship, or develop your vision of a better future, I provide evidence-based couples counseling. Being a published yoga researcher, my approach is holistic (mind-body-relational-lifestyle) and focuses on couple’s specific needs, strengths, values, and goals.
In addressing your needs, I support the health and wellbeing of our community by providing telepsychology appointments to couples across the state of Oregon. While some might believe therapy by videoconference would not be ideal, the evidence is that telepsychology is as effective and satisfying, on average.
Searching for a couples counselor is undoubtedly difficult. Both you and your partner will want a sense of comfort, respect, and understanding from your therapist. This is invaluable to the process.
