Therapist Profile

I have been working with couples since 1985, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I maintain a private office in West Hartford, CT but I also offer online counseling and Retreats for people coming from out of town and for local people who want to move faster toward refreshing their relationship.

Since my approach (known as the 3 Principles, Health Realization, and Innate Well-being) is educational in nature, you will find that I am always neutral and therefor nonjudgmental of your situation never favoring either point of view – because a point of view is always subjective and my focus is on the process of thinking, not what what people think (which is content.) My focus is to help you gain greater peace of mind and effectiveness in life. That is the foundation for lasting, loving relationships.

Every relationship begins with you…and that relationship is based upon the way you think. We each create our own reality.

You can think, “I’m in love,” or you can think, “I’m not in love anymore,” you can think, “I’m a great partner,” or you can think, “my partner doesn’t care about me anymore.”

Each will create a different outcome, if you believe it to be true. I don’t mean positive think your way through, that does not change things internally and only has the illusion of change even externally. However, with an understanding of how thought WORKS to give everyone an experience of their relationship, the other person and life in general — then change happens naturally from the inside-out – which is sustainable.

It is all thought.

There is a level of thinking that will bring you to a higher, wiser, more resilient state of mind, which helps bring people together and feel more connected to each other.

Simply understanding how thought actually works, will help you uncover more creativity, receptivity, relationship harmony, and love. Happiness becomes more sustainable; no longer relegated to mere chance.

Come for couples therapy, leave with a happier life. I offer an educational approach and I provide you with a compassionate, nonjudgmental way to uncover the role you’ve innocently played in your relationship difficulties. Everything shifts with insight.

“Just like the clay of the sculpture, thought is not reality. However, our personal realities are molded via our thoughts.”
