Phoenix, Arizona Marriage Counseling Therapist

Connection and Identity
Welcome. I appreciate your taking the time to learn a little about me.  My name is Meira and I enjoy helping individuals and couples explore and maintain meaning and resilience in their lives.  Having moved from country to country in my teens and 20s I have had opportunity to experience the importance of connection, meaning and its impact on identity.  It gives me much joy to help couples with family counseling to find their way and adapt to change without losing their sense of self.

My Approach to Marriage Counseling
I am also that person who likes to ask "why?"  I like things to make sense.  I don't need to know everything, but I want my life to be real and not pretend.  This is why my approach to therapy and coaching also emphasizes authenticity.

Family Counseling Basics
Some couples know exactly what they want to work on in treatment while others feel that they have slid out of "normal" for so long, they just need help. I encourage most couples to contemplate how connection and authenticity play out in their relationship. Much well-being appears to grow from there.
