I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Pennsylvania with a worldview grounded in Biblical principles. My counseling approach is client-centered and treatment varies depending on the specific needs of the client. I work collaboratively with clients in establishing and accomplishing measurable goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) are a predominant focus as well as Solution-Focused strategies. Additionally, researched based interventions and techniques are utilized to effectively and appropriately address client needs.
Individual Counseling
I provide a safe and confidential environment and telehealth platform for individuals to explore current issues they are experiencing. Feelings of grief, anxiety and depression can easily be overwhelming and begin to disrupt daily life. For those clients experiencing grief, I walk with them through the stages and help them to fully engage in the process so that you can experience peaceful healing. Providing clients with ethical, competent care with Christian values in a secure environment is my priority in establishing our counseling relationship together.
Marriage and Couples Counseling
My approach when working with couples is grounded in attachment theory. I provide clients with tools that help them to learn and approach their relationship from a different perspective as they gain insight into their own communication styles and temperament, while learning to appreciate and connect with their partner.
My professional background includes over 15 years of experience collectively in the business and education sectors, before pursuing my career as a professional counselor, and has provided me with a solid life experience base to connect with others on many levels. I am also a registered New Life Ministries Counselor.
